Sept 1 Assignment: Article Review: Official: Hungary's toxic sludge reaches the Danube River

the purpose of this article was to let us know the type of sludge it was and the PH levels or it and the harmful effects of the sludge. the toxic sludge have many effects on the enviroment. the toxic sludge could have effected the nations water so therefore people wouldnt have any water to drink.this toxic red sludge also effected the people food it killed alot of fishes and animals so it was hard for them to find food that wasnt effected by the red sludge.the european Union also feared that the sludge would reach other nations and destory their food and water supply also.

The purpose of this article is to inform us on different types of Sludge and the pH levels the sludge has. It also lets us know what effects a
sludge can have on an environment. The sludge can have many effects on the environment. It can infect the water and cause many fish to die. Sludge can also infect out food. people who have come in contact with infected food from a sludge can die. sludge can also infect the plant life underwater, which cause many fish too become infected and therefore results in humans eating the fish and thus killing themselves.

This articles purpose was to describe the type of sludge that is flowing through Hungary, including, pH levels, effects, and location. The sludge is a waste process from the production of aluminum and can harm Hungary's water supply, food, and people. The sludge can contaminate the fish which the local people eat and would therefore kill them. It can also contaminate the nations water sources, and the UN fears it may travel down the water sources into a possible 6 different nations. Therefore it can affect the water sources of many countries, the food, and water supply

Toxic sludge waste can cause death or injury to living creatures. It spreads quite easily and can contaminate lakes and rivers.
